If you’re seeking menopause counselling and psychological support, our group therapy sessions can help.
Proven Support Through CBT
SOME EVIDENCE-BASED RESEARCH
Research has shown that women spend approximately one-third of their lives in menopause (Charmchi et al., 2016). Fortunately, evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) have proven effective in managing menopausal symptoms, particularly hot flashes from menopause and night sweats (Ayers et al., 2012).
Studies have demonstrated that group CBT sessions can significantly improve quality of life for women experiencing menopausal transitions (Moghadam et al., 2019; Soori et al., 2019).
At Insightful Counselling, we understand the importance of support during this phase of life. Mhairi Jerga, a Master of Counselling graduate specialising in CBT, offers group therapy sessions designed to provide a safe, confidential environment for women seeking additional support.

Testimonials
"Counselling services can be really underrated, sometimes you don't know you need it until life takes a turn and it goes beyond what the usual circle of friends or family can understands. I had the opportunity to work closely with Mhairi through some of my most challenging life situation, and I'm glad that I did. Sessions were done in the most professional of ways, no judgement whatsoever and each time, it's just a safe space to sort out the most complex of issues."
I had a counselling session with Mhairi who I met in Hong Kong, She is warm and welcoming, which makes me feel comfortable always. She listened to my concerns without judgment and asked thoughtful questions that helped me reflect on my feelings.
It was very helpful, providing me with practical strategies to cope with my challenges. I left feeling supported and more equipped to handle my issues. I highly recommend this counselling service to anyone looking for guidance and a safe space to talk.
