This session is designed for counsellors, therapists, and mental health professionals who want to enhance their skills in case conceptualisation and session documentation for effective treatment planning.
Workshop Overview:
– Case Conceptualisation: Gain insights into structuring and conceptualising cases with a focus on creating tailored treatment plans. You will learn practical frameworks and techniques that are directly applicable to your practice.
– Session & Case Notes: Understand the best practices for writing clear, concise, and comprehensive session and case notes that support treatment progression and clinical decision-making.
– Breakout Room Activity: Participants will work in small groups during a breakout room session to conceptualise a real case example. This hands-on activity will help you apply the techniques and strategies discussed, reinforcing the process of treatment planning through collaborative learning.

Rita Gupta
With over 20 years of experience as a psychotherapist, Rita is passionate about providing meaningful and effective support to individuals, couples, and families. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and young adults facing life transitions or dealing with family changes. Rita adopts a relational and integrative approach, using therapeutic modalities such as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centred approaches to tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs. She offers a safe, compassionate space for clients to work through their issues. Rita has been a clinical supervisor for over 20 years and is registered with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
Rita Gupta

Reena Goenka
An experienced counsellor and clinical supervisor, Reena is dedicated to fostering empathy, support, trust, and communication in her practice. She has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse, multi-cultural backgrounds, including supporting students in both primary and secondary levels at MOE schools. Her goal-oriented approach promotes self-awareness and helps clients reframe negative beliefs into positive ones. Reena tailors therapy to each individual’s needs using techniques such as Transactional Analysis, EMDR, Two-chair work, hypnosis, and visualisation. As a clinical supervisor for over 10 years, she is committed to enhancing clinicians’ skills and fostering their professional development. Reena is a registered Clinical Supervisor with SAC.
