Hi and welcome!

I am Kesava Kumaran and I have 45 years of experience as a counsellor, social worker, trainer and consultant in the field of adult, youth, pre-marital, marital and divorce counseling; parent education; and behavioural, addiction and crisis counselling.

A Training Consultant with a Diploma in Training and Development and an Offender Aftercare Programme Clinical Consultant with a Diploma in Clinical Supervision, I also have more than 15 years of experience as a correctional rehabilitation specialist, trainer and clinical supervisor.

A professional high point for me is that I have facilitated more than 500 psychological treatment groups for high-risk offenders in Singapore Prison Services. Desiring to share my knowledge and experience with the people who need it the most, I have also co-authored a chapter on the soon-to-be-published book by Singapore Prison Services, ‘Co-Leadership: a Group Work’.

I have a Master in Counselling from the University of South Australia and besides conducting training in Counselling and Befriending Skills, I also conduct facilitation and group work workshops and provide clinical supervision to Master students.

I have my own weekly family life skills lectures and dialogues in the Tamil section in National Radio, and have conducted parent education talks in community centres and religious organizations across Singapore.
