An experienced psychotherapist, Kesavan has piloted several offenders correctional and rehabilitation treatment programmes including Specialised Treatment Programme (2001), Integrated Criminogenic Programme (2018) and Looking Forward (2017). He is passionate about helping people re-imagine their creativity and resilient narrative.

Kesavan is specialised in using experiential psychotherapy group work practices to help young people, high-risk adult offenders and drug addicts to create personal awareness, effective communication, and leadership skills to attain the life they envision for themselves. He has the honour of facilitating more than 500 group therapy sessions in Prison.

As a facilitator, Kesavan has designed creative and inclusive learning programmes for professionals and para-professionals. His passion in people development has been instrumental in to create evidence-based training programmes for Prison Officers and Correctional Specialties. He coached and trained Prison Officers to sparkle their interest and excitement to encourage correctional treatment initiatives for meaningful change and growth of offenders.

Kesavan with his experience as social welfare and community caseworker worked with dysfunctional families, youth from marginalized backgrounds and survivors of trauma, domestic violence, and addiction to bring about the positive impact and personal growth for his clients.

He is proficient in combining complex subject matter with high-end approaches and strength-based clinical models to conduct treatment, informed therapy and training for clients and offenders to apply.
